Try This: ® Best Practices in Nursing Care to Older Adults Series
Developed by the Hartford Institute, this series of tools provides knowledge of best practices in care of older adults and encourages the use of these best practices by all direct care nurses. Each Try This issue is a two-page document with a description of why the topic is important when caring for older patients on the first page and an assessment tool that can be administered in 20 minutes or less on the second page. Here nine issues from the series that are of particular value to clinicians involved in the RAI process.
