CMS Revamps Five-Star Staffing: Learn How It Impacts NACs

By Caralyn Davis, Staff Writer - May 15, 2018

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has updated the Five-Star Quality Rating System Technical Users’ Guide (April 2018) for the second time this year, this time to address the switch to using Payroll-Based Journal (PBJ) staffing data in the Five-Star Quality Rating System on Nursing Home Compare.
