Bringing Culture Change to Life

Bringing Culture Change to Life

Former president, Jimmy Carter, once said, “The measure of a society is found in how they treat their weakest and most helpless citizens.” For me, this statement has always captured much of the hope behind our drive for culture change in nursing homes—to transform care delivery into a highly personal encounter providing both quality of care and quality of life.

Speaking of quality, we love this series of videos created in partnership by the Colorado Culture Change Coalition and the Center for Digital Storytelling.

Rather than trying to explain what culture change means for nursing homes, these videos bring this important concept fully to life. Here’s one our favorites. Tell us what culture change looks like in your facility.
