The Resident Assessment Coordinator-Certified Advanced (RAC-CTA®) program is an advanced certification for clinical reimbursement leaders who are current RAC-CT holders. . This three-day workshop provides advanced principles of clinical reimbursement, Medicare program compliance and integrity, RAI/MDS program integrity, leadership, ethical practice, managing medical review, accurate ICD-10 diagnosis coding, advanced strategies for payment oversight, and improving a facility’s quality measurement in all CMS quality programs. Whether you are a clinical reimbursement specialist in a regional, state, or national consultant, or are a professional in any aspect of MDS and Medicare compliance and oversight, this program will help you excel as a reimbursement leader. You must hold and maintain a current RAC-CT to qualify.
Online registration will close 5 days prior to the start of the workshop. Payment must be received upon arrival or before the workshop begins in order to attend.

RAC-CTA Certification - Three-Day Workshop
Nursing Continuing Education Hours
The American Association of Post-Acute Care Nursing* is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. The RAC-CTA 3-day workshop is approved for 22.5 CEs.
AAPACN* works in conjunction with the National Association of Long-Term Care Administrator Boards (NAB) to provide nursing home administrators with continuing education credit for any AANAC workshop attended.
*The American Association of Post-Acute Care Nursing (AAPACN) is the parent organization to AANAC.
CEs are based upon actual classroom attendance for the duration of the scheduled educational activity verified through sign-in sheets. If a student must leave before the activity is schedule to end or is late arriving, he/she will not receive full CE credit, however, partial credit may be awarded. Each attendee, based on sign-in sheets/attendance, will receive the CE certificate upon completion of the education activity. The final certification exams are not a requirement for claiming a CE certification for the workshop.
AAPACN and the Training Partner are not responsible for any fees incurred due to cancellations or postponements. Attendee cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to workshops@AAPACN.org. Registrants who are unable to attend may send a substitute in their place. Cancellations received more than 30 business days prior to the start date of the workshop will receive a full refund. Cancellations received 14-30 business days prior to the start date of the workshop will receive a full refund, minus a $250 processing fee paid to Training Partner. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received less than 13 business days prior to the start date of the workshop except for emergencies or a visit from State Surveyors. No refunds will be issued for cancelations due to weather if the workshop itself is not cancelled.
