Resident Assessment Coordinator - Certified (RAC-CT) 3.0 Recertification Courses


Important Notice!
Effective immediately, you DO NOT need to recertify in MDS 2.0 unless you are being required to by your facility/company.

For recertification under MDS 3.0, you must have a current RAC-CT certification (you must have certified or recertified after December 31, 2006) and you must complete and pass, with a score of 80% or higher, the following five (5) MDS 3.0 courses:

MDS 3.0 Coding for OBRA and PPS (CEU's - 5)
This course was developed to increase the knowledge and skills required to perform an accurate resident assessment using the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) designed by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) as mandated under the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1987 (OBRA '87). This manual is one in a series of courses AANAC has created as the foundation for its MDS RAC-CT® Certification Program.
