Hotel Reservations
Rooms are reserved for the AANAC National Conference for
the nights of September 23 – September 28, 2007 at a special
rate of $139.00 and $159.00 for Friday, September 28,
2007. Additional persons will be charged at a rate of $30.00
per person, per night, with a maximum of three persons per
guestroom. All room rates are subject to any local, state and
federal tax that may apply at the time of occupancy.

New group rate of $179.00 cut-off is 8/31/07. Best available rate will apply after this date.
AANAC urges all conference attendees to secure your hotel
reservations at AANAC’s host hotel. (Bally’s Las Vegas)
The hotel has been contracted to provide the best rate and
services to our conference attendees. In order to reserve
the required meeting rooms, AANAC has a contractual
obligation to fill our sleeping room block. If reservations
are made at a different hotel, AANAC risks falling short on
our obligation, which translates into AANAC paying higher
costs (penalties) to the hotel. Should this occur, AANAC
will likely be forced to increase our conference registration
fees for future conferences.
Parking
Parking at the Bally’s Las Vegas is complimentary.
Transportation
Bally’s Las Vegas provides transportation to the hotel via
shuttle from McCarren International Airport 10AM - 10PM
daily. The cost is $7.00 per person one-way and $14.00 per
person round-trip. The shuttle pick-up is located at Terminal
1 (in front of Baggage Carousel #1) Call 1-800-818-7450
for further details. Cab fare to and from Airport to Bally’s
Las Vegas is $15.00 each way
Registration
There are three ways to register:
- You can register online at www.aanac.org and click on 2007 Conference.
- You can fax your registration form to AANAC at (303) 758-3588.
- You can mail your registration form to
AANAC, 400 South Colorado Boulevard, Suite 600, Denver, CO 80246.
Important Dates:
- Early Bird Registration: Pay by 5/31/07
- Regular Registration: 6/1/07-8/31/07
- Late Registration: After 8/31/07 until full
The pre-conference registration fee includes continental
breakfast, lunch, breaks and handouts for each course. The
conference registration fee includes continental breakfast,
lunch and breaks each day.

AANAC accepts Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
Please provide appropriate contact and billing information
with your payment and registration form.
We are unable to process registration forms received without payment.
Cancellations
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to the
AANAC offi ce via email to infor@aanc.org or fax to (303)
758-3588. Cancellations received before September 10,
2007, are subject to a $50 administrative fee. Cancellations
received between September 10, 2007 and September 17th,
2007, are subject to a 50% refund. Cancellations received
after September 17th, 2007, are non-refundable.
NEW INFO - Speaker Handouts
Pre-Conference attendees will receive Pre-Conference handouts.
To keep your registration fees low, conference
attendees need to download, print and bring
their own speaker handouts. Speaker handouts will
be available for download for conference attendees on
our website.
AANAC Training Manuals
The AANAC Training Manuals are not required for the workshop. However they are great source documents and will be available for purchase at the registration desk or can be ordered online at the AANAC web site.
AANAC Membership
You must be an AANAC member before the conference to
take advantage of the member discount rate. Membership is
non-transferable; it is based on the person not the organization.
Replacements for conference attendance must be an
AANAC member before attending conference. You may
join AANAC at the same time by submitting the membership
and registration fee along with our registration form.
Both payments must accompany your registration form.
Environment
AANAC will make every effort to maintain a comfortable
learning atmosphere. It is very difficult to regulate the
temperature in meeting rooms. Please layer your clothing
so you will be comfortable. Average September Climate for

ANA/NAB CE Credits
The American Association of Nurse Assessment Coordinators
is approved as a provider of continuing education
on nursing by the Colorado Nurses Association, which is
accredited as an approver of continuing education in nursing
by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission
on Accreditation.
The Pre-Conference Certification Workshop provides 7.5 CE’s each day Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for a total of 22.5 CE’s.
The Updates Course provides 7 NAB participant hours and 7.5 CE’s.
The Conference programs offer 12 CE’s.
