A lot is very familiar about the final two chapters and the last appendix of the MDS 3.0 Long-Term Care Facility Resident Assessment Instrument Users Manual posted in January by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. But, compared to the MDS 2.0 version, there are some notable changes, too. This session will highlight some of the significant differences in the timing and scheduling and Care Area Assessment requirements found in the most recent version of the manual.
